Athens- Our impressions and Images

“I was impressed with the speed of the cars that were flying down the main drag outside our hotel.  I saw a lamboriigini, a couple of ferioaes , beamers, and a ton of street bikes. “
Jessie R.

“Athens was an interesting experience learning about the effects of the economic crisis and its instability yet learning about how it used to thrive in the past.  Also the story of Athena and the naming of the city is one of my favorite mythology stories.”

“The Plaka District was so much fun to shop and eat.  Very busy place buzzing with lots of people.”
Chandler S

“Because of how the trip was organized the last day in Athens felt rushed. I would have liked to have experienced the city in greater depth.”
Bryce D

“I loved the overview of the city from the Acropolis.”
Charlie C.

“The city looked so big and beautiful.  People were so nice in the little shops that we went and visited.”
Angelina Y.

“The Acropolis was very cool with its ancient temples and ruins.  It offered not only a glimpse into a great history but also offered a great view of the modern city.  It was especially interesting to learn that the Parthenon was only majorly damaged 400 years ago.”
John J

“I really enjoyed the shopping and dining area near the Plaka.  It was so much fun to hang out with the locals.”
Oreana F

“Our hotel was outside the city center and located right next to the beach.  It was amazing to go to the beach at night.”
Dakota C

“I really enjoyed the views of the beach outside our hotel.  The beach was unusual to me as it was rocky and not sandy.  It was beautiful none the less.”
Brian D.

“I know there are lots of rocks in the ocean but I was expecting a sandy beach and wasn’t expecting all those small rocks.  So when I ran to the beach in the dark and hit the rocks---ouch!”
Rhiannon E.

“I wish we could have stayed here longer.  The museum was so cool.”
Andrew B.

“It was cool to see the great historical ruins even though it was so hot.  The Greeks are trying to do a good job preserving them.”
Sara W.

“I loved the beaches here.  I will never forget them or the Acropolis.”
