Olympia- Our Reflections and Images

“I saw the place where they light the Olympic torch.  I even got to see the original stadium where the track events were held.  Our guides’ voice reminded me of Dog the Bounty Hunter’s wife.”
Jessie R

“I really enjoyed Olympia and Greece in general.  I love the mythology, stories  and the traditions behind everything  that we saw.  Being in the birth place of the Olympics was really cool.”

“I thought it was interesting how the cheaters in the ancient Olympics would be shown off so people would know who to shun and not have respect for in the future.  I thought it was interesting how a woman one snuck into the event.”
Dakota C.

“I learned a few interesting things at Olympia about the ancient Olympics.  First the events were done naked.  Women were not allowed in the grounds.  The track events were run in straight lines not on curves like some of the modern races.”
