Rome

Picture
“The city was huge with so many things to do.  I thought it was interesting when we went the Chapuin Cyprt had so many bones decorating the walls.  There must have been five thousand skulls there.  It was just a little bit creepy and different. It was a multi-cultural city complete with an Irish pub.”
Jessie R

“One of the things I liked about the city of Rome was that you had the ability to find these places to sit and relax and be peaceful for a time and then see or experience something mind boggling moments later less than a block away. Quiet to crazy in just moments.”
Emily T

“This city was so amazing.  There were way to many things to see in such a short time.”
Chandler S.

“Rome was so full of history.  I can not imagine that there are many cities that have that much history.”
Bryce D

“I thought it was interesting that there were no tall buildings.  This makes sense as not to block the views of the amazing skyline.  I think it is cool how historical statues and monuments have been integrated into the modern city and society.”
Charlie C

“Everything about Rome was perfect.  The architecture was amazing.”
Angelina Y

“I liked the layers of old ruins within the city and the running drinking fountains available throughout the city.”
John J

“Other than all the cool stuff I saw in Rome I almost fell down when I saw a guy just punch a bird.  You never know what you are going to see in this large city.”
Oreana F

“What I liked most about Rome is that there was gelato on every corner.”

“Lots of things stood out about Rome.  One thing of interest to me were all the crowded streets and the vendors.  It was all amazing.”
Brian D.

“I really enjoyed the street atmosphere of the city.  Watching families enjoy the evenings together in the public squares was really interesting.”
Jonah P.

“There were pigeons everywhere and tons of things to do (and eat).  Getting lost with friends and using the map to find our way back was very cool.”
Amanda C.

“There was so much to like about Rome but Gelato has a special place in my heart and stomach.”
Sara C.

“I learned about how different Italy is from the United States.  I loved walking around and exploring Rome.”
Jake B.

“I found it interesting that you sometimes had to pay to sit in a restaurant – it seems like you were getting pickpocketed. “
Rhiannon E

“Goat Fruit!.....This place was everything I imagined and more just like the story of Zeus and the cornucopia.”
Andrew B

“I loved it.  It was a true big city.  Pickpockets, food beggars, keeping track of your passport and trying not to get lost these are the things that I will remember.  It was great!”
Sara W.

“The bathrooms in Rome aren’t always free.  The seating in certain dining establishments also sometimes is not free.  If you order water at dinner this is not always free as well.”

“I really liked the Trevii fountain and the Colleseum.  They were both so cool.”
Emily L

“Rome did not use the grid system when they planned out the city which makes it easy to get lost.”
Tristen G.

“I enjoyed walking all over Rome.  You really get a feel for the city.  The river (Tiber) was beautiful.”
Viveca P.
