The Great Wall of China

Picture
“We hiked the Wall for three hours, and this time went too quickly.  It was so beautiful I could have spent much more time hiking in these beautiful mountains”

Kade

“The wall was GREAT!” It was an adventure and it was easy to get lost in the moment.”

Kavyn

“The Wall was super majestic.  It is hard to fathom how they build such a vast structure.  I really enjoyed sliding down the rails on the way down from our hike.”

Johnathon

“Our short but arduous trek up the steep side of Great Wall paid off with huge dividends in the end.  The view was incredible. To think about the efforts involved in making this place is hard to imagine.  This was definitely a highlight.”

Stefan

“Absolutely Gorgeous!  Pictures do not do it justice, you have to see it in person.  There was a lot of walking which was to be expected but despite that I was shocked to see so many women wearing heels and wedges considering how steep and rough the steps were.”

Sara

“It was much steeper than I thought, even on the so called easy side.  It had It had a gorgeous view of the mountains.  Sara, Kavyn and I took a man-powered slide down the mountain from just off one of the wall sections.  It was fun.  But we got lost so our guide Ruby had to find us.  It was interesting trying to find a phone on the Great Wall.  It was an amazing place.”

Dakota

“I wanted to climb the Great Wall.  It was Amazing.  I knew it was big and long but wow- you really have no idea until you see it and walk along it.  The view was breathtaking.”

John

"It is hard to capture your thoughts about the Great Wall with words or pictures.  It is one of those places you have to experience for yourself.  The site is powerful as is the energy of the people visiting it."
